**Hostel Worker**

**New Steine Mews Hostel**

**Monday to Friday, day and evening shifts plus on call 1/4-5 weekends**

**£27,852 plus evening enhancements and on call payments**

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the support offered to vulnerable homeless people in the City.

You will take responsibility for the safety and security of the hostel and its residents, ensuring that safety procedures and statutory obligations are adhered to and will support a number of residents with one to one support and take part on weekend on call duty every 4-5 weeks.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.

Package Description
To assist in the day to day running of the hostel, as non-institutionally as possible. To provide advice and support to single homeless people on a keyworking basis and to take an active role in enabling their resettlement within the hostel’s resettlement strategy. The Hostel Worker will be expected to take responsibility for the running of the project in the manager and deputy manager’s absence.
