We are looking for a Junior Accounts Receivable or Finance Assistant with ambition Our ever-growing client needs you if you have 2 or 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable with knowledge of contract billing to join their friendly team in West Byfleet.
**The Role**
You will need knowledge of general Accounts Receivable and Credit Control, ideally from a Local Authority or Housing Association background with a working knowledge of Contract billing.Contract billing can be complex, so exposure to this would be greatfor your development if you have a basic knowledge of this to build on.You will also be the Cashier for cash and banking and be adept at allocating customer receipts, processing payment runs on Bankline and updating cashflow forecasts.
**What you’ll bring to the team**:
- The ability to adapt and present the billing advice to the clients in a way that suits them
- You will be comfortable in building relationships across the company and with clients alike so people know they can come to you with changes as and when they happen
- As the Billing and the receiving of payment go hand in hand, you will also become an expert in Credit Control and be able to approach the clients and handle credit control in a streamlined timely and friendly manner.
- Ad hoc billing for non-contract services
- Your main duties will be raising sales invoices, credit notes and entering remittance advices
- Allocating customer receipts
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
The role sits within a friendly, collaborative and sociable team on a hybrid basis, with onsite parking, 20 days holiday and a salary up to £30,000.There is also study support for the ambitious among you looking to progress with your AAT.
