HMS are seeking a **Quality Assurance Technical Inspector** to join our dynamic Construction team.

This is a vital role where you will ensure compliance with site plans, specifications, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct detailed on-site inspections and audits to confirm adherence to contract documents, specifications, and safety standards.
- Provide quality assurance oversight, ensuring construction activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to deliver a customer-focused service.
- Monitor and report on contractor performance, addressing any deviations from contractual, quality, and budgetary targets.
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Promote best practices and value-for-money solutions in construction delivery.
- Ensure consistent adherence to health and safety regulations, offering expert guidance where necessary.
- Work closely with the Health & Safety team to align on standards and compliance.
- Keep up to date with relevant legislation, technological advancements, and industry standards.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, contractors, and external partners.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Comprehensive understanding of the building industry, including materials, trades, methods, and legal requirements.
- Experience of carrying out construction site inspections to evaluate compliance with building regulations and any other prescribed technical standards.
- Experience in writing operational reports for audiences to understand monthly trends and activities.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
- Full UK or EU driving license.
