**Pay**:
£10.65 RSW Unqualified

£10.85 RSW Unqualified, Successful Probation

£11.15 RSW Qualified, Level 3 or 4
- **Driving License Essential**_
- **Shifts can include Mornings, Nights, Weekends, Sleep Ins and Weekends**_

You will be responsible for providing day to day care for our Young People, whether this is supporting them in activities, education or statutory meetings relating to their time in residential care. You will work as part of a dedicated, caring team to ensure the homes are kept to a good standard, to include cooking and cleaning and of course safeguarding their welfare at all times.
- **Essential**:_
- A good standard of written and spoken English, Basic Arithmetic
- In Date DBS
- Experience of working with young people, 12-17, who have challenging behaviours
- Ability to form and maintain relationships, setting boundaries
- Emotional resilience
- Planning & Co-ordinating activities
- Knowledge of Young People and they problems they face
- Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information
- A STRONG desire to work with young people
- Ability to be patient and a sense of humour
- Safeguard at all times
- Be Flexible
- **Desirable**:_
- NVQ Level 3: Caring for Children and Young People
- Current First Aid Qualification
- Health and Safety Training
- Working within a Care Home/Residential setting
- Experience of working with young people with Emotional, Behavioural Difficulties, Autism
- Knowledge of Childcare Legislation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.65-£11.15 per hour

- Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
