Support Worker

As a **FEMALE** Support Worker in Henllan, Denbighshire you’ll help make the **_everyday remarkable_** for the people we support.

We are dedicated to supporting those with learning disabilities to live a fulfilled and enriched life in the community, as a Support Worker, you can play a vital role in this.

**Location**:Henllan, Denbighshire

**Hours**: We have both part time (minimum 20 hours per week) and full time hours (maximum 35 hours per week), please speak to us about the hours you are looking to do. Your shift pattern will include weekends and sleep-ins

**Salary**:£12.74 per hour and our sleep-in shifts at £60 per night and our travel expenses is paid 45p per mile

**What you’ll be doing**:
In this role, you’ll actively support four individuals (two males and two females) who are active and enjoy various activities in the community. Two of the people you’ll be supporting are wheelchair users and require personal care therefore a female Support Worker is required.

As their trusted Support Worker, you'll empower them to make choices including taking part in structured activities that build confidence and develop new skills. You’ll also offer practical support to help them meet responsibilities like paying bills, maintaining their homes, being good neighbours, and staying connected with friends and family.

Your goal is to make **_everyday remarkable_** through enhancing well-being and focusing on the small, meaningful moments that bring joy and purpose. By offering this kind of person-centred support every day, this truly is a fun and rewarding role for the right person.

**Who we are looking for**:
**No experience required as full training is provided. We’d love to hear from you if you**:

- are female (essential)
- have patience and empathy
- can support a person with their intimate personal care with respect and dignity
- have strong communication and teamwork skills
- are able to speak on behalf of others as well as to a range of professional people
- have good written skills and the ability to record events with empathy and meaning
- have a **full driving licence - essential** for transporting individuals to appointments and activities
- have access to your own car and happy to use this for transporting people we support to and from activities as well as obtaining business insurance for your vehicle for which we pay 45p per mile to cover this.
