The role is working in a fast-paced environment at Gatwick Airport alongside our prestigious Airline partners, helping to ensure their aircraft depart safely and on-time

**What will you be doing?**
*

Working as part of a team you will support the Team Leader to ensure all baggage, mail and cargo is loaded into the aircraft using in-plane loading systems and terminal baggage belt systems, The ramp team assist with aircraft towing and pushback operations, and work closely with the cargo operation as well as other ground staff and HM Customs to ensure flights are loaded safely for take-off.

**Essential Experience & Skills**
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment
- Pre-employment checks - ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5 year employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report

**Desirable Experience & Skills**
- Previous airport experience in a Ramp Agent role
- Previous experience working with heavy/operational machinery
- Ability to motivate self
- Customer interaction
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good team player, but capable of individual action

**Job Requirements**
- Previous Weight and Balance, including manual load-sheets or turnaround co-ordinate experience in last 2 years is desirable.
- Full UK/EU Driving licence - min. 1 year on road recent driving experience is essential
- Held Aviation job role in last 24 months
- Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment
- Pre-employment checks - ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5 year employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report.

**Hours of work**:

- 40 hours per week available
- various shift patterns including earlies lates and weekends.
- Flexibility is required in accordance with the Business Operation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
