**Job Summary**

The core responsibility of the Junior Sales Consultant is to provide quality, tailored recruitment services, creating and establishing long lasting relationships with existing Highams clients and prospects.

In this role you will work with the Insurance Practice Lead developing new and established clients (many of whom have worked with us for over 10+ years) Business opportunities will cover both contract and permanent recruitment.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in customer facing activities including client sales meetings, vacancy briefings, facilitation of interview schedules and service reviews.

**Required Skills Experience**

**Recruitment Specialist**
- Understands what roles are hired within our sectors;
- Makes contract and/or permanent placements.

**Goal Orientation**
- Achieves activity targets consistently each month;
- Identifies short, medium and long term action based goals.

**Self-Motivation / Resilience**
- Able to rebound quickly after disappointment/failure to secure revenue;
- Is open to change in order to affect more positive revenue outcomes.

- Uses reference taking as a business development opportunity;

**Financial and Reporting**
- Demonstrates understanding of margins and markups required for profitable sales when making deals;
- Commercially aware of own cost to business and what revenue has to be generated in order for commission to be earned;
- Understands the need for a pipeline and can articulate what this looks like for their desk versus revenue target (number of jobs on, no of CV's presented versus interview requests and billing);

- Relevant industry experience and/or a passion for Business and Technology transformation within our core industry verticals;

**Key Responsibilities**
- Successfully managing, nurturing and building relationships formed with clients and the talent in your care;
- Developing a deep understanding of our clients business and the HIGHAMS services;
- Gain knowledge in your chosen markets to be come the 'go to' expert with your vertical
- Finding out specific requirements for the vacancy to be filled and anticipating future assignments;
- Sourcing the most suitable applicants, interviewing them and assessing their knowledge and skill level to build strong relationships with all relevant applicants;
- Advertising, screening and interviewing appropriate applicants;
- Achieving agreed activity targets;
