Recruitment Coordinator
We're looking for a natural organiser who thrives in a fast-paced recruitment environment. AltGen United Kingdom is looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to support our Managing Director and team in driving impactful hiring projects across the renewable energy industry.
In this role, you'll be the cornerstone of coordination, managing schedules, orchestrating interviews, engaging with clients and candidates, and ensuring that the team stays aligned and on track. You'll act as the link between people and process, enabling the MD and consultants to focus on what they do best.
Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition Strategy & Process
- Own and manage all talent acquisition channels (Job Boards, LinkedIn, mapping projects).
- Research new companies, maintain generic lists, and stay ahead of sourcing tools and technologies.
- Write and manage job advertisements (in collaboration with Marketing) to ensure consistent quality and brand alignment.
- Ensure accuracy of all client information and documentation, from job descriptions to agreement records, within the ATS.
2. Database Management & Candidate Quality
- Evaluate incoming candidates: determine suitability, prioritise actions, and route candidates efficiently to consultants.
- Maintain high standards of document management; formatting CVs, coding information accurately, and ensuring all data is up to date.
- Collaborate with the global AltGen Admin team to enhance our database searchability and reduce time-to-fill.
- Oversee third-party rechecks and manage vendor relationships.
3. Delivery Quality & Communication
- Ensure all external communications (CVs, interview coordination, adverts, emails, job postings, blogs, etc.) are accurate, professional, and aligned to AltGen's tone
- Take ownership of written content across platforms — ensuring clarity, precision, and quality at every step.
4. Team Process & Record Management
- Maintain team trackers (work-in-progress, candidate and client anniversaries, start dates, etc.).
- Record and circulate meeting notes, ensuring follow-ups and accountability for agreed actions.
- Track KPIs and timelines, compiling weekly and monthly team reports for management.
- Keep the team on schedule and alert them when deliverables are at risk.
6. Knowledge Management
- Act as custodian of all team data — ensuring information on clients, candidates, and projects is current, accurate, and well-organised.
7. Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline manual processes.
- Drive efficiency and quality improvements across sourcing, reporting, and team workflows.
