- **Salary**: £28,000 + Bonus

**Overall Purpose of the Role**:
Working on market-leading awards and conferences, you will be responsible for driving volume and revenue growth as well as creating lead generation. You will have to manage a large workload and will be working within a supportive and nurturing environment. You will be expected to support the Events Marketing Manager and the wider marketing and events team across the Indigo division.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Writes and edits high quality, compelling copy, which is accurate and grammatically correct, making sure that all printed and online communications demonstrate the defined value proposition for the brand
- Produces timely and accurate audience and marketing reports, through maintenance of all data collection points and ensuring data is collected in line with best practice guidelines
- Supports the development of creative concepts; producing briefs and managing each stage of the design process to ensure all marketing material is approved and delivered to schedule
- Records and monitors marketing spend to accurately track costs for campaigns and ensures adherence to agreed budgets
- Develops and maintains all relevant marketing and sales collateral to support marketing campaigns and defined commercial needs
- Creates and maintains effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party partners via telephone, written communication and face-to-face meetings, ensuring marketing activity is fully aligned to the needs of the portfolio
- Provides regular status to key contacts (Marketing, Data and Customer Services) on progress and potential concerns relating to promotional activity and general workload
- Demonstrates industry awareness and audience understanding across defined marketing products and broader portfolio, identifying key competitors, monitoring audience and marketing activity, highlighting changing marketing techniques and identifying opportunities for best practice process improvements and collateral development across emap
- Supports the wider marketing team, Group Marketing Manager and divisional director where needed with additional marketing and commercial requests and tasks across the following areas:

- Data / audience marketing
- Brand marketing (content and creative)
- Lead generation and commercial campaigns

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience of events marketing (min. 2 years)
- Understanding of marketing principles, developments and new techniques and demonstrated experience in campaign management
- Exceptional communication skills - verbal and written
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders cross functionally to achieve objectives and create compelling and effective communications
- Project management and organisation skills and ability to manage simultaneous projects to tight deadlines and to prioritise tasks that deliver greatest revenue opportunities
- Copy writing, proof reading skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and awareness of digital and online platforms including CMS and social media
- Computer literate with good knowledge of I.T. including Office packages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook
- Previous experience of working with marketing / data / finance systems and tools
- Pervious experience of working with centralised teams and external suppliers
