This is a new role within a small office (circa 80 employees), providing a fantastic opportunity for you to bring your skills in facilities management to UKSBS and grow the role, making it your own. We have recently relocated our office to Stockton and need to coordinate all FM activities so the ability to work pro-actively and independently with previous experience in a similar role is necessary

Duties will include, but not be limited to the following:

- Act as FM lead for the Stockton office, facilitating the end-to-end process of all maintenance queries, from raising the ticket, monitoring progress and job completion, in line with SLAs
- Planning and scheduling service and maintenance (PPM) activities to ensure plant and equipment remains in service and meets all regulatory requirements
- Organising and hosting contractor visits and ensuring maintenance work is carried out in a safe manner with the appropriate access arranged
- Working with and monitoring the services of the FM contractor against KPIs, gathering feedback and satisfaction from employees, including conducting of cleaning inspections
- Overseeing statutory compliance activities such as legionella control testing
- Working with the Company’s Health and Safety (H&S) lead to ensure the site H&S documentation is accurate and coordinate and update annual the fire training package
- Coordinate first aid and fire warden cover for the site
- Manage day-to-day building issues
- Administer finance / invoice requirements using relevant systems
- Create and implement new processes in relation to FM activities

To do this role well you will need the following:

- Previous facilities experience coordinating FM and H&S activity for an office-based site
- Ability to take the initiative and work autonomously without close supervision, possessing great interpersonal working and communication skills
- Be reliable, committed and well-organised
- Have a willingness to develop new skills and take on new challenges
- Proficient use of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel
- IOSH or COSHH awareness is beneficial but not essential

In return for your skills and experience, we can offer you flexible working options for a 22-hr week (part-time) with start and finish times between 8am - 6pm, or part time hours to suit. Please note that due to the nature of the role you will be expected to work on site the majority of your time
