**About the Role**

As Head of Education and Learning at Elysian Shamley Green, you will:

- Lead the Provision’s strategic development and daily operations, ensuring compliance with Independent School Regulations and exceeding standards.
- Inspire and manage a team of educators and support staff to deliver high-quality education and therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of every learner.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving excellence in teaching, learning, and outcomes for children and young people.
- Oversee the implementation of individualised Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and ensure statutory responsibilities are met.
- Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), ensuring safeguarding is prioritised across all aspects of the school’s work.
- Build strong relationships with families, commissioners, and external agencies, championing Elysian’s reputation as a leading provider of therapeutic education.

**What We’re Looking For**

We’re seeking a Head who:

- Has substantial leadership experience within an Independent School, including working in adherence to Independent School Regulations.
- Demonstrates a successful track record of school improvement and achieving exceptional outcomes for learners.
- Brings strong knowledge of SEN education, including experience with EHCPs and therapeutic approaches.
- Possesses excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and learners alike.
- Is passionate about making a transformative difference in the lives of children and young people with SEN.
- Holds relevant qualifications, including QTS and/or leadership qualifications.

Pay: £47,185.00-£54,870.00 per year
