Culina Group Limited, through its subsidiaries, provides logistics, warehousing, distribution, and other services for the food and drink industry in United Kingdom and Ireland. It provides chilled, ambient, contract packaging, and bonded logistics services,as well as value-added services, such as online visibility and systems integration, pallet management, and supply chain management.
Reporting to the Depot Manager, the Client Services & Stock Manager has responsibility for the management of the Client Services, Goods In & Stock Teams including control of our Client’s full SKU inventory, involvement in stock storage strategies & stockrelated reporting. This must be actioned in line with the Clients contractual KPIs and SLA’s.
Shift: Monday to Friday
**Key Duties**:
- Managing the overall operation of the Client Services Team including a direct report, Client Services Supervisor.
- Managing the Goods In Team including control of the Goods In Diary in line with Depot capabilities.
- Maintaining processes to promote stock integrity.
- Supporting the operations team to achieve product batch integrity
- Investigating all stock related discrepancies, adjusting stock levels where applicable and providing trend analysis for the same.
- Working closely with the operations team at all levels to drive continuous improvement in terms of stock accuracy.
- Ensuring processes and reporting meet both the customers’ daily needs and contractually agreed targets.
- Performing stock checks as per customers’ requirements, and management of any internal or external audit requests.
- Maintaining pick and reserve location requirements to match the sales activity throughputs.
- Managing Client Returns / Uplifts ensuring received stock is processed in line with agreed deadlines and proactively liaising with other Depots to ensure stock is returned in a timely manner.
- Suggesting updates and changing the system as appropriate for the quality system to remain relevant.
- Creating and maintaining an environment that encourages employee participation and effective team working.
- Monitor & control sickness absence levels in line with Company Policy and carry out return to work interviews effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor time attendance and control / approve appropriate overtime to meet Client requirements.
- Sponsoring training and development for the Client Service, Goods In & Stock Teams
- Ensuring employees are involved in the success of the operation through continual feedback and positive communication
- Promoting high standards of hygiene and housekeeping and ensuring compliance to all legislative Health requirements
- Understanding and working within the standards required within the Quality Management System.
**Qualifications**
- Previous Stock Management experience is essential
- Experience in people management and effectively leading a team
- Able to balance time constraints and prioritise a challenging workload while managing other employees and projects.
- Able to identify and solve problems in a logical & structured manner
- Empirica WMS & SAP experience a distinct advantage.
- PC literate (MS Office)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, Excel at Intermediate or above.
- Excellent Presentation skills utilising PowerPoint
- Effective communicator who continuously demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
