**Job Title**: Apprentice Logistics, Planning and Stock Control Assistant

**The Role**:
At IPL Rotherham we are looking for an apprentice to join our growing Materials, Planning and Logistics team. You will work closely with the Transport and Planning Co-Ordinator as well as the Stock Controller assisting with all their duties while learning both roles.
**Duties will include**:

- Assisting stock loaders with any queries which might arise whilst carrying out their duties
- Assist the Transport and Planning Co-Ordinator with booking of trailers for delivery of products
- Planning production and maintenance into our planning software
- Contact suppliers and customers to discuss their orders and deliveries
- Work with the Stock Controller to manage stock and order material using JIT and FIFO
- Assisting with the management of our recycling and waste lines
- Involved in year end and half year stock-takes
- Holiday cover for the roles you will be learning
- Raising purchase orders
- Goods receipting
- Collaborating with the team to achieve our monthly and annual KPI’s
**The Person**:
Team player

Good attitude to work and ambitious to progress
**Skills Required**:

- A minimum of 5 GCSEs grade 4/C or above, including English and maths or a level 2
- Confident with Microsoft packages

**Working Hours and Wage**:
40 hours per week

Mon
- Fri 8.30am - 4.30pm

Wage: NMW for age £4.62 - £8.91 per hour

£184.80 - £356.40 per week
**Progression Opportunities**:
Future prospects include progression into Stock Controller, Logistics Co-Ordinator, Production Planner.
