Office Administrator

**Overview**
Local based property maintenance company seeking Office Administrator to join our busy office in Kings Langley team of 5.
This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide comprehensive clerical support to ensure efficient office operations.
- Maintain and update accurate records using Xero.
- Maintain accurate records of all fire stopping works and ensure documentation is up to date.
- Monitor and track fire stopping compliance against project plans, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Support fire risk assessments by providing access to records and assisting in the coordination of follow-up actions.
- Liaise with contractors and internal teams to ensure all fire stopping works are completed to a compliant standard and signed off appropriately.
- Schedule and coordinate inspections, audits, and re-inspections of fire stopping works.
- Assist in the preparation of compliance reports for senior management and regulatory authorities.
- Provide administrative support during regulatory audits and inspections.
- Keep up to date with changes in fire safety legislation, standards, and best practices relevant to fire stopping.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in an administrative or compliance support role, ideally within construction, facilities management, or fire safety.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to interpret technical documents such as fire stopping plans, specifications, and certificates.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge and experience in CRM systems.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Full training will be given for fire stopping but admin experience is essential.
Desirable
- Experience with fire safety compliance software.
- Fire safety or compliance-related qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH Fire Safety, IFE, ASFP training).
