Asset & Procurement Warehouse Operative

The digital services department are looking for a energetic and motivated Warehouse Operative to join a friendly team.
The team are looking for someone to assist with the co-ordination of all IT Purchases across the hospital group and will involve liaising directly with the Procurement team.
Standard stock equipment items will need to be maintained in accordance with guidelines set out by the Asset Manager and or Desktop Support Manager.
This will involve completing frequent stock checks to ensure levels are staff to continue to provide service, providing equipment on a weekly basis to other hospital sites and daily collection of goods from stores/ The post holder will report to the Digital Services Asset Manager but will work alongside all IT staff ensuring any procurement needs are fulfilled within a timely manner in accordance with outlined SLAs.
**Duties of this role include but are not limited to**:
- Collection of physical goods from Goods Receiving
- To match received goods against orders and note records to maintain accurate documentation pertaining to goods received.
- To check documentation for deliveries against orders and chase short deliveries.
- To chase late deliveries and liaise with the suppliers to ensure adherence to the ‘returned goods’ procedures.
- To maintain and account for stock levels at each site following guidelines set out by the Asset Manager.
- To ensure that data and software held by the Trust is secure and that access to it is managed in line with Trust policy and to comply with the Data Protection Act and local Trust information policies. Installation or distribution of software should be done so appropriately and within the licence agreement quantity purchased by the Trust.
- The individual will require an understanding of licence models and restrictions for all chargeable resources such as software licences (intangibles) and End User equipment (tangibles).
