**Warehouse Operative / IT Asset Management / Data Centre / ICT / Technology /**

**Location: Essex**

**Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 + Benefits**

**Permanent**

Forklift and reach truck license along with knowledge of receiving goods with Purchase Orders in Service Now / Receiving Program highly desirable along with a general knowledge of IT Hardware / Components.

Mon-Fri position, no on-call or shift work and may require trips in central London.

**Responsibilities / Skills**
- Must have experience in inventory and asset management.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Service Now/Oracle or equivalent.
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
- Must have valid Driver License.
- Skilled at operating mobile equipment such as, Forklifts, pallet trucks and server lifts
- Manage Goods Receipt and Outgoing collections for the Client and their end Customers
- Maintain effective records of goods in and goods out for management and audit purposes
- Conduct regular audits of all stock held on site
- Complete site environmental checks on site as required.
- Undertake Cabinet audits to ensure accuracy as requested
- Take collection of 3rd party Data Tape deliveries and provide holding service until DC Ops can collect for action to be taken.
- Undertake regular site walks to ensure HS&E obligations are maintained and managed.
- Ensure day to day and future compliance to safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods
- Volunteer ideas / initiatives that contribute to the service levels and delivery
- Support of pre-scheduled and reactive operational workflow at the Data Centre.
- Manage and track all assets received into the Data Center [receive, review, receipt, document, process, prepare, identify, separate, deliver, transport, etc.]
- Deliver, pickup, and transport assets and material within, between, to and from various locations [docks, offices, buildings, sites, etc.]
- Use handheld scanner to control inbound and outbound accountable items.
- Monitor the Service Now queue for Shipments, assign to oneself according
- Receive items with Purchase Orders in Service Now/Receiving Program.
- Insure items received in Service Now are error and defect free.
- Ensure data entry into internal databases is done accurately and within established time frames.
- Coordinate with DC Manager, the disposal and recycling of retired IT equipment.
- Raise Transfer Requests
- Proactively follow up shipments
- Comprehensive knowledge of inventory control.
- Handle work order service requests into applicable format.
- Prepare and process outbound courier shipments using our preferred courier
