Sinclair Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced construction Clerk of Works on behalf of our client who are Manchester based.

**Your responsibilities as a Clerk of Works include**
- Monitoring and inspecting all works in progress, including those of sub-contractors
- Preparing's reports, task allocation and tracking
- Reporting in line with the requirements of specific scope of services
- Maintaining a diary of the progress of works
- Recording the details of any occurrence or situation thought likely to cause delay or of any delays which do occur in relation to the building contract and inform the Project Manager
- Providing practical advice, as necessary to the Project Manager in relation to the building contract..
- Submitting any queries on the drawings and specifications to the Project Manager
- Help the team evaluate drawings at the pre-construction phase.
- Attending sites and providing the full service as required by the building contract.

**The Clerk of Works will be**:

- Able to demonstrate relevant experience within residential / social housing works or construction works
- Proficient use of IT including tablets
- Experience in using inhouse systems
- Ability to multitask numerous projects and responsibilities
- Professional development scheme
- Flexible working hours

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £42,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
