Employer Engagement Coordinator

Based at the Northbrook Campuses, Worthing and the Brighton Met Campuses
2 x posts, 1 x 28 hours per week, 1 x 25.5 hours per week
Both Term Time Only, working 40 weeks per year
Provide an efficient liaison service between employers, students and course tutors to source, promote and monitor suitable work experience and industry placements for student’s development.
? To represent Employability within the group across all sites.
? To meet and exceed predefined Industry Placement and Work Experience targets in line with the College improvement policies and funding targets across the college.
? To build, establish and maintain employer relationships to create employer engagement opportunities.
? To raise the awareness of the benefits of an experience of the workplace to all stakeholders.
? Provide support and guidance for students looking for placements in the workplace and to assist with creating effective matching opportunities.
You will require English and Maths Level 2 (GCSE grades A-C or 9-4).
Also the following skills and abilities:
- ? Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and working to targets.
? High Level of networking and negotiation skills
? Working within a service area requiring a high level of customer service/ satisfaction
? Sound office management with excellent organisational and communication skills with IT skills, to include Microsoft Excel and Word
The work pattern is flexible across 4 or 5 days per week
