We are currently looking for an experienced **HR & Engagement Advisor** to join us at our Dunelm site in Stoke. You’ll provide a timely, effective and comprehensive support to the onsite team within all aspects of Human Resources.

This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis, the hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
You’ll be paid a salary of up to **£34,000 **per annum. You’ll also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Provide quality advice and consultancy support to line managers on employee relations, including managing discipline and grievance matters and end to end support of the absence management process
- Proactively monitor and provide the HR Manager with management information relating to HR matters, such as HR statistics for employee headcount turnover and absence
- Take a lead on employee engagement for the wider campus, driving engagement events and activities, communications and employee surveys
- Liaise with relevant reporting lines within the business to manage the recruitment process against planned recruitment and training plans

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Experience in a similar generalist HR role with a good knowledge of employment law, HR policy, practice, employee relations and change management approaches
- CIPD qualified/part qualified or studying towards would be beneficial
- Excellent communicator, able to lead by example and build long term relationships
- Be adaptable and able to work within a rapidly changing environment
