Manuel Cornwall is looking for an ambitious, flexible, IT enthusiastic, hardworking person to join our friendly team as a Business Support Administrator on a part-time basis.

This is a great opportunity for somebody with experience in working in a busy administrative role and an interest in working within a children’s home setup. In this role there will be a diverse range of work, from supporting the team with IT-related tasks to being the key Health & Safety Officer within the home - you will quickly become a crucial part of many governance processes and get to experience Risk Management, Completing Risk Assessments, Health and Safety checks, IT related tasks amongst others.

Your Responsibilities will include:

- To be able to monitor, review and improve processes, systems and practices to ensure the Management performs successfully and optimises efficiencies as well as:

- To manage the filing and storage of all electronic and paper files in line with best data management practices, to ensure efficient and effective record keeping
- To Manage all Health & Safety systems within the home
- Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient running of the Service
- To complete Risk assessments and carry out relevant training for staff members.
- Be enthusiastic, flexible, willing to learn and able to use their own initiative;
- Have excellent Communication and Inter-personal skills;
- Have good knowledge/ interest in Health and Safety/ Health & Safety systems within a workplace (training will be provided);
- Competent use and understanding of IT systems database and accurate keyboard skills;
- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence;
- Having extended knowledge of Microsoft packages is vital as all the daily information and tasks are retained for auditing and reports;
- Previous administration experience essential
- Attention to detail is essential.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £11.50-£12.00 per hour
