**Driver Dray Crew -Westgate Street, Bury St Edmunds**
(45.5 hour average working week including breaks - Monday to Friday - shifts starting between 5am and 7am)
**Key requirements**:
- Clean, current UK LGV Class 2 driving license, Digi Tacho card and Driver CPC
- Ability to deliver a quality customer service in a multi drop environment
- Fit and capable of physical work
- Self-motivated and above all friendly and reliable
Our Driver Dray Crew are essential to the safe delivery of stock to our customers' premises in a range of different driving and unloading environments. You are responsible for checking the safety and presentation of the vehicle at all times, adhering torelevant driving legislation and good driving practice. You will need a class C driving licence and evidence of appropriate Driver CPC training.
You will be working in a two person team with a dedicated member of the Dray Crew, completing a multi-drop route of up to 12 tonnes of wine, spirits and beer, so you will need to be fit, agile and able to follow our strict instructions for the safe movementof heavy items.
You support our customers to receive their stock effectively by loading and unloading in an organised manner, being mindful of the impact of our delivery vehicle in that setting and also on any adjacent businesses or residents. Stock is offloaded into a locationagreed with the customer and may involve taking stock down into a cellar, into the bar area of a pub or into an outside storage shed.
You need to be adaptable, flexible and responsive to a range of different customer requirements whilst being able to adhere to a planned delivery schedule. You need to be able to communicate effectively with the warehouse teams, your Dray Crew member and ourcustomers. You also need to be able to raise concerns or suggestions for improvement in a positive and professional manner.
We operate a customer focused business and you will be representing our company to the customers so you will need to be flexible, adaptable and willing to change your work patterns to suit the business when required to do so.
