We are looking for an office administrator to join our busy Oral Health Improvement Team. You will need to be a good communicator, be IT literate, flexible and adaptable in your approach to work whilst having excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills. The role is pivotal in supporting our team with a wide range of administrative tasks which include; providing a professional reception for our online and telephone requests for training and support, producing and designing our public health campaigns and delivery of this campaign information to our clinics in Oxfordshire and Slough, processing post and enquiries, typing and data inputting. The work of the administrator is essential in enabling us to provide an excellent Oral Health Improvement service to our clients and partners within the community. We are looking for an enthusiastic creative individual who will enjoy the opportunity to contribute to this work and who is interested in being supported to continue their professional development.
Main purpose of the post with Oxford Health oral health promotionteam
The post holder is a member of the Oxfordshire Community Dental Service (OCDS), part of Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust (OHFT) and will assist in the delivery of:
1. Supporting the Oral Health Improvement team.
2. Researching and creating original and imaginative Oral Public Health Campaign material
3. Providing a resource facility for Dental staff and staff from partner agencies.
4. Day to day office administration support as required.
The post holder will provide a professional reception for our online and telephone enquiries for training and support, help produce and design creative oral health resources for our public health campaigns and deliver this campaign information to our clinics and partners in Oxfordshire and partners in Slough, assist with processing post and enquiries, typing and data inputting.
The post holder will assist other team members in their work as required and gain experience working with a wide range of organisations which may include: suppliers, Commissioners, Primary Care Consortia, Adult Social Care, Children and Family Services, Police, Prison Services, District Councils and the Voluntary Sector and other Mental Health and Community Services.
