**Your duties and responsibilities**:

- You will be handling portfolio of domestic major ad complex losses in excess of £100,000 in value
- Engaging with internal and external specialists
- Gathering and checking evidence
- Interviewing policy holders
- Requesting reports from specialists, like building surveyors
- Organising clean-up operations or building repairs
- Making further investigations if you suspect fraud
- Writing reports for insurers
- Helping businesses quantify the loss of income
- Advising on measures to reduce the risk of further losses

**This role you will achieve**:

- Previous experience in dealing with domestic claims adjusting is ideal but not essential
- Experience of previous Loss Adjusting in other areas welcomed with a strong background in core technical skills
- To have obtained CILA status or willingness to work towards this certification
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A strong desire to progress your career to the next stage
- Adaptable and happy with change
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent market knowledge
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually
- Making further investigations if you suspect fraud
- Writing reports for insurers
- Helping businesses quantify the loss of income
- Advising on measures to reduce the risk of further losses
