Medisec Ambulance Service is now recruiting for Salisbury **and surrounding areas**.

We are offering 12-hour shifts on self-employed basis to cover 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days of the year.

From our operational locations, you'll cover a designated area or shift in line with our client's request.

Your duties will include driving, move and help patients in and out of the vehicle, making sure that the vehicle is clean and tidy and keeping an accurate record of their journeys.

On PTS, you'll be looking after the service users that you're transporting, making sure they are safe and comfortable during the journey and arrive on time for their appointments.

Many of them will be in poor health, and you will also need life-saving skills in case there is a medical emergency.

You should have a caring nature, be confident yet able to offer a calming influence.

Be prepared to work unsupervised while thinking ahead and demonstrating initiative under pressure.

You should have the drive and a self-awareness of your own development needs and pride in your appearance.

Assessments will be ongoing to maintain competency standards.

**Must's**:
Applicants must 21 years or over.

Current Full UK driving license held for a minimum of **2 years **with no more than three penalty points.

Excellent communication skills - written and verbal (essential).

DBS check is required for this role. It is beneficial if you are on the Live update system - if not, the DBS can be applied for once a position is offered.
