**About Our Client**:
PageGroup are recruiting on behalf of an organisation in the education sector with an exciting and new **Finance Business Partner** vacancy**.** This is a permanent and varied role based in central Halifax (HX1).

Duties of the role will include:

- Costing and on-going monitoring in performance of efficiency.
- Investigating and interpreting variances to budget.
- Support the Finance Manager in developing the skills of Finance apprentices
- Distribution of monthly accounts to Faculty and Unit Managers combined with attending regular meetings with them to discuss their monthly performance.
- Accurate and timely posting of payroll data, including maintaining costing data
- Contributing to the preparation of annual statutory accounts, including providing audit information
- To participate in the preparation of budgets and forecasts including liaison with other staff as required.
- Preparing accurate balance sheet reconciliations, control account reconciliations and reviewing subsidiary ledgers to ensure accurate financial data.
- Produce and manipulate financial reports in excel
