Business Administration Supervisor

**ROLE PURPOSE**
The Business Administration Supervisor is responsible for leading the Business Administration Team within the Operations Directorate. The role will identify, set up and maintain administrative and co-ordination to support the Operations Directorate business needs. This role will carry the line management responsibilities of the Operations administration functions and the development of the Business Administration team. The role will ensure that business administration is comprehensive and robust with single points of failure in either systems or personnel. The Business Administration Supervisor will be responsible for the Competency of the Business Administration staff. They will be responsible for the production and management reporting of key performance indicators that align with business needs and ensure that all matters are managed and reported up to the Director of Operations, Chief Executive Officer and the Board as appropriate and in a timely manner.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coordination of day-to-day administration tasks to support the wider operations team
- Liaise extensively with internal teams to resolve customer problems where escalations occur
- Participate in the development and administration of department goals, objectives, and procedures
- Manage the development of Business Administration Staff in key with their role competencies and agreed personal development objectives
- Ensure invoices and POs are raised promptly
- Liaison and collaboration with our internal business development team
- Oversee, direct, and coordinate the work of the administration team to ensure that quality standards are being met and proper procedures are being followed
- To oversee the implementation of new procedures and processes; liaising with other departments and staff as required
- Dealing with clients and contractors of the Company
- Drafting and sending legal contracts on behalf of Scheme Managers as appropriate
- Responsible for providing Monthly Business Board & KPI Reports for the Operations Directorate
- Accountable & Responsible for the data integrity of the Company Systems, Databases & Trackers used within Operations and that interface into the wider business
- Ensure that all staff are cross-trained on a secondary Business Administration Position in order to provide for the Company with succession planning and business continuity capabilities
- Act in a “super user” capacity on defined business critical systems with the Operations Directorate
**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Experience of managing and leading a busy administration team or 5 years business administration experience
- Excellent organisational, analytical and numerical skills
- Computer literate, experience of Microsoft Office Packages and SharePoint administration
- Be a team player with the ability to work well under pressure whilst motivating others
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines within a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt with changing deadlines
- Proactively builds on-going relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Detail focused and confident solving complex problems
**Salary**: Up to £32,000.00 per year
