Part Time Service Administrator

MIH was established in 1985 as a small contractor working with local county council and government projects. The business has grown since the early days and now turnover approximately £7 million per annum.
MIH’s main area of business is commercial and industrial, including, hospitals, school, Universities & MOD project. MIH work with their clients on design-build, predesigned mechanical contracts including heating, air conditioning, ventilation & maintenance.
We are currently recruiting for a part time Service Administrator, to work two days per week initially with the potential of increasing to three days per week as the role evoles.
This role plays a critical part in running a successful Service Department. You will work closely with the Service Manger, Service Engineers and our custumers. On a day to day basis you will schedule work for the Engineers, both planned maintenance & emergency call outs. In addition you will be responsible for the back office administration e.g. creating invoices & liasing with the accounts department, obtaining quotes from Engineers for quoted works & keeping Job Logic up to date with all jobs.
- 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including English, Maths & Science
- experienced of working in a similar role
- excellent organisational skills
- outstanding communication skills (verbal & written)
- be able to priotise their own workload.
In return, you will receive a competitive hourly rate, 22 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays ( pro rota to part time hours) and Company Pension Scheme following successful completion of the three month training period.
