Payroll Administrator/manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Payroll Manager** to join our payroll team in a temporary maternity cover position in our **Broxbourne** office.
The job would involve the processing of monthly and weekly payroll along with monthly CIS submissions for a wide variety of clients, across several sectors.
The role is **part time**, and the days are **Monday, Wednesday**and**Friday**. We can be flexible in working hours, but the days are fixed.
Training will be given and there will be room to further your role within the practice and develop your knowledge and skills.

**Key responsibilities**:
- Processing end to end high-volume payroll.
- Statutory payments - Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay, PAYE and National Insurance.
- Processing of Year End procedures.
- Provide 1st line support for payroll queries.
- Liaise with HMRC when required.
- Process Tax Code changes.
- Ability to process manual calculations.
- Monthly CIS Submissions
**Qualifications**:
- Essential is experience of sage 50 payroll.
- 3 years' experience working in a busy payroll function (ideally in a payroll bureau or Chartered Accountancy practice)
- Grade C and above at GCSE English & Maths.
- Ability to work on own initiative, working within a team and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multi-task.
