We are working with an award-winning environmental charity who are looking for a Fundraising Manager with experience of successfully fundraising in the charity sector from trusts and foundations.

**Position**: Fundraising manager

**Location**: Homebased with occasional trips to London or Wigan

**Contract**: Part-Time(30 Hours per week)

**Salary**: £40,000- £42,000per annum FTE

**About the role**:
As Fundraising Manager you will be required to manage relationships and increase income across a wide range of sources including trusts, individuals, and statutory funders. You will also develop and implement a fundraising strategy for the organisation.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Manage income from trusts and foundations and statutory sources
- Develop a growth strategy for fundraised income
- Research suitable opportunities for fundraising
- Maintain a stewardship programme with funders
- Support departments with bid writing
- To work closely with fundraising-related staff across the organisation

**About you**:
The charity are looking to develop their fundraising strategy, so if you bring experience of developing and delivering individual giving programmes, corporate giving programmes, and / or experience of successful bid writing for government contracts, that’sa bonus.

You will need the following essential skills and experience:

- Experience in successful fundraising in the charity sector
- Ability to create and develop proposals
- Knowledge of charitable trusts and foundations relevant to the environmental work
- Experience managing single-year and multi-year grant relationships from £500,000 upwards
- Experience in bid writing
- Experience of working across organisations to coordinate the development of successful proposals and bids including input from multiple teams
