Head of PR

Arthur Rank Hospice Charity is looking for our next Head of PR & Communications to promote the outstanding work, care and support that the Charity offers in the Cambridgeshire region.

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising & Communications, in this part-time role, you will manage Communications team and assist with marketing activity for the Arthur Rank Hospice.

The successful postholder will undertake and oversee the planning, development and delivery of internal and external communications including PR, media handling, digital channel management, as well as brand and reputation management.

You will support and nurture your direct line reports to fulfil their potential and achieve the best possible return for the Charity.

We are looking for someone with the experience of:

- PR, Communications or Journalism - print, online
- Working understanding of how communications departments function within complex organisations, with numerous departments, pressures and responsibilities
- Demonstrable track record of media liaison and achieving positive coverage
- Has produced and utilised a wide range of content across various platforms, including social media, local media, digital and print
- Worked for a charity, or has provided services to the third sector
- Has worked in a clinical environment or at a clinical workplace

You will be based at our Hospice in Cambridge with an option to work from home for part of the week
