**Post Title**: Primary school sports coach to deliver a range of sports activities, which may range from and include a combination of the following; Breakfast, Lunchtime, after school / holiday clubs and assisting coaches during P.E lessons.

**Working Hours**: The position is required Monday to Friday (between the hours of 7.30am - 5.30pm), £9.00 - 15.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications). Hours and days may be negotiable and may be a combination of the roles listed below.

Working hours for various positions can be between:

- 7.30am - 9am (Breakfast club)
- 12.00 - 1.30pm (Lunchtime Club)
- 1.00 - 3.00pm (P.E assistant Coach)
- 3.00 - 4.30pm (After school Club)
- 3.00 - 5.45pm (Wrap around clubs)
- 8.45am - 4pm (Holiday Clubs - Outside term time)

**Responsible To**: General Manager

**Swift Sports Coaching** are a proud and successful team, committed to running fantastic sports clubs for Primary aged children to enjoy sport and continue in the future. We are leading providers in delivering after school clubs to Primary aged children in schools within Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

**General Information**: Swift Sports Coaching are always looking for experienced and energetic individuals to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team of coaches. Relevant experience is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.
- Full UK driving license and own car is essential.

**Purpose of the role**: You will be delivering a range of safe, fun and inclusive breakfast, lunchtime, after school sessions and activities and be responsible to:

- Lead Breakfast / lunchtime sporting activities
- Assist with P.E lessons
- Lead After School Clubs / activities in a variety of sports and age groups
- Confidently deliver a wide range of sports
- Effectively plan, deliver and evaluate a range of high quality multi skill and sport specific sessions
- Follow Swift Sports Coaching and school safeguarding procedures (Covid 19 Procedures)
- Manage pupils behaviour at all times
- Represent Swift Sports Coaching in a positive reflection
- Liaise positively and confidently with children, parents/carers and school staff
- Excellent communication skills
- Prioritise the safety and well being of the young children they work with
- Organised and punctual
- Can work alone or as part of a team

**Data Protection and Safeguarding**:

- Work within the requirements of Data Protection at all times
- Understand your responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding and child protection and how to highlight an issue / concerns
- Remain vigilant to ensure all students are protected from potential harm General
- The post-holder will be expected to undertake any appropriate training provided by Swift Sports Coaching to assist them in carrying out any of the above duties.
- The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the protection of children and young people, as appropriate, in accordance with any agreed policies and/or guidelines, reporting any issues or concerns to their immediate line manager.
- The post-holder will be required to promote, monitor and maintain health, safety and security in the work place. To include ensuring that the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH, and all other mandatory regulations are adhered to
