Data Governance analyst
Are you looking for an excellent Data Governance Opportunity? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Governance analyst well adept with business processes, looking to work within a reputable financial institution, utilizing SQL on a daily basisand working with multiple data sets at the same time, starting ASAP and paying up to £45,000 per annum
Role Responsibilities:
*Expert management of our data quality tool, from installation through to configuration and regular maintenance activities.
*Leading on design approach for data quality rule development.
*Defining and documenting data quality improvement processes.
*Communicating clearly and effectively with colleagues across different levels of the organisation when gathering requirements, discussing data concerns, and presenting data changes and initiatives.
*Capturing data requirements from business users and translating these into business rules.
*Maintaining business rules in our master data management system and data quality tool as appropriate.
*Making sure data is managed appropriately including access, quality, and retention.
*Ensuring that SQL queries are as efficient as possible.
*Completing BAU tasks when required to be done.
Experience and Qualifications:
*Knowledge and experience working with a Data Governance or Data Quality tool.
*Knowledge and experience of working within an analytical, DBA, ETL or business process function.
*Translating business requirements into a technical solution.
*Having excellent problem-solving skills when needing to find a solution to a requirement.
*having great attention to detail to ensure the right solution is delivered and is accurate
