**Group Account Director - London - GBP 60,000-65,000 DOE**

My client is a fast-growing digital agency who are working with some major household brands

They are looking for a Group Account Director to lead the team who is responsible for 3-5 accounts within the FMCG space. You will help build more creative and unique social content for the agency's clients.

As Group Account Director, you will have strong project management and organisational skills as well as proven experience in digital channel strategy and implementation which is key to being successful in this role.

This role requires you to work from the London-based office 3 times a week therefore, you will need to live and have the full right to work in the UK.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Building strong relationships with all clients, from brand & marketing execs, through to director level.
- Being the main point of contact for each client lead. You will work in partnership with them, driving business and the teams to deliver great work
- Escalation points for the client for any issues with your teams, you will need to be a problem solver that deals with problems with a solution-based attitude
- You will be confident with clients and will challenge the client, when necessary, whilst keeping a positive relationship. You negotiate to create win-win compromises with your client on behalf of your team members where needed
- You will ensure each team consistently delivers to the expected level of client service
- Lead the account team by example, line managing the total team
- You will have oversight of your team's WIPs and knowledge of projects going through each account, without being pulled into the day-to-day management of projects.
- Responsible for growing the agency offering across each client, pushing our capabilities to brand & marketing teams and keeping us front of mind for strategic and creative opportunities
- You will actively seek out opportunities with your client and build relationships with senior clients, pushing to upsell our offering
- Manage the P&L for each account team and forecast operational income on a weekly/quarterly basis to senior management

**As a Group Account Director, you will need**:

- 7-10 years of experience working for an FMCG specialising in brand and marketing strategy, including brand positioning, architecture, or innovation.
- Relevant agency work experience
- Previous experience leading integrated agency teams
- A strong grounding in the commercial running of accounts, P&L management and forecasting
- Strong gravitas and the ability to build relationships with senior clients, building trust in our offering
