We currently have an opportunity for an experienced and committed Management Support Officer to provide support to the UK Central Team.

As a Management Support Officer, you will provide effective administrative and management support to the UK Central team to assist in the effective function of the UK Central Project Management Office (PMO) and co-ordination of team activity and, when required, other members of the Economy and Infrastructure Directorate Leadership Team.

We are looking for someone who has:

- Relevant experience in a Management Support, Personal Assistant or similar administrative role including experience of setting up and maintaining management information systems and performance reporting.
- Maths and English GCSE Grades A*- C (4-9) or equivalent or the ability to demonstrate an equivalent level of numeracy and literacy through office experience.
- Experience of liaising and dealing with a wide range of internal and external contacts including senior officers.
- ICT and digital skills including experience of using Microsoft Office packages.
- Developed organisational skills, able to organise, plan, use initiative and prioritise in order to meet the needs of the Head of Service and Group Managers.

You will be based at Solihull Council House and work on a hybrid basis; which will include a combination of home working and working in the office according to business needs
