**Job Opportunity: Cleaning Supervisor**

**Location**: Based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire - Travel to client sites required
**Contract Type**: Self-Employed / Limited Company Contractor
**Rate**: £13.00 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (with flexibility for early starts, late finishes & occasional weekends)

We are seeking a proactive and professional **Cleaning Supervisor** to join our team and play a key role in managing staff, supporting daily operations, and ensuring high standards across multiple client sites. This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the **Head of Operations and CEO**, requiring a strong leader with the ability to adapt to varying site needs and provide support where required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and support cleaning staff across multiple client sites
- Travel between locations to oversee teams and inspect standards
- Act as a key point of contact between management and on-site staff
- Support with general cleaning and deep cleans when required
- Ensure all teams follow agreed procedures, health & safety, and quality standards
- Manage stock levels, place supply orders, and monitor usage
- Support site setup and onboarding of new contracts
- Provide ongoing training and support to new and existing staff
- Communicate updates and feedback to the Head of Ops and CEO

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a cleaning supervisory or site management role
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Excellent organisation and timekeeping
- Flexible and willing to adapt working hours based on business needs
- Hands-on, team-oriented, and comfortable leading by example
- Experience managing cleaning products, stock control, and supply ordering
- Enhanced DBS required (or willing to obtain one)
