About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to lead and oversee electrical works across a range of projects in Stevenage and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for supervising a team of electricians, ensuring that all electrical installations, maintenance, and repair activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate day‑to‑day activities of electrical teams and subcontractors. Plan, allocate, and monitor workloads to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations (BS 7671) and company health & safety policies. Conduct regular site inspections and testing to verify the quality and safety of installations. Provide technical support, guidance, and training to team members. Liaise with clients, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery. Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and test certificates. Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency across the electrical department. Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) qualification. ECS Gold Card (Supervisor or Approved Electrician level). Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent) desirable. Proven experience in a supervisory or lead electrician role. Strong understanding of health and safety practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Full UK driving licence. Benefits Competitive salary of £50,000 per annum. Company vehicle or car allowance.
