**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Compliance Officer to join our team. In this permanent, full-time role, you will play a vital role in ensuring our care home adheres to all relevant regulations and best practices.

**What You Will Do**:

- As the first point of contact for staff compliance queries, you will provide clear and informative guidance.
- You will be responsible for safeguarding the well-being of our staff and clients by ensuring we meet the high standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) incorporating the new CQC I/We Quality statements,, Health and Safety Executive (HSE), and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Proactively monitor and maintain compliance with all regulations and internal policies.
- Deliver engaging training sessions to educate staff on compliance procedures and the importance of adherence.
- Conduct thorough audits to identify and address any potential compliance issues.
- Organise and book relevant training courses for staff, both online and practical.
- Manage administrative tasks such as maintaining compliance audit files and general office duties.
- Collaborate effectively with management across departments to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

**Who You Are**:

- You have 2-3 years of experience in a health or social care compliance role.
- You possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- You have a keen analytical mind that allows you to interpret information quickly and accurately.
- You have a strong eye for detail and can comprehend complex information.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at meeting deadlines.
- A proven track record of achieving compliance targets is essential.
- You hold yourself to the highest ethical standards.
- You are a confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- You possess strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- You are a collaborative team player with a resilient and enthusiastic approach.
- You have excellent administrative and communication skills.
