Reports to: Employee Relations Specialist

**THE ROLE**

The purpose of this role is to provide first-class support and guidance across ASOS on all employee relations matters, ensuring a fair and consistent approach to all ASOS people policies and ways of working, in line with Company and legal requirements. This role also provides support to Px Partnering on the delivery of organisational peo-ple plans and the implementation of business wide people related projects. This role would suit an individual with experience working at ER Adviser level, with significant ER experience and who is used to working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environ-ment, where change is constant, and flexibility is vital for success.

**You will be**
- Guiding Managers across all business areas through employee relations cases in real time, intervening and steering in the appropriate direction taking account of company policies, employment law, best practice and precedent.
- Ensuring consistency and fairness in case management across ASOS.
- Guiding managers through formal capability case management and ensuring best practice is followed.
- Making referrals to Occupational health and working with managers on receipt of reports to ensure all reasonable recommendations are put into place.
- Developing and building trusted partnerships with managers, providing constructive challenges as well as acting as a sounding board and advisor.
- Collating and reviewing ER data for your business area in order to make recommendations for improvements, using data to inform decision making.
- Develop a solid understanding of your business area to identify strengths, weak-nesses, challenges and opportunities from both a commercial and People Expe-rience Team perspective.
- You will support PX Partnering in helping to identify people strategies as well as implementing frameworks and objectives that will deliver results in line with our PX roadmap
- Produce, analyse and share data to identify trends and assist with recommendations on how to address challenges and opportunities
- Working with the ER Specialists, PX Advisors and PX Partners to support the improvement of people processes across ASOS.
- Working with our external employment law team to take advice on case law and legal changes, and implement this advice across ASOS policies and processes
- Making recommendations for improving HR service. Understanding the need to work across PX with other COE’s in order to maximise results.
- Taking an active role in developing new policies and procedures and ensuring these have the right ASOS look and feel.
- Supporting other Advisors, ER Specialists and PX Partners in helping to identify people initiatives as well as implementing tools and objectives that will deliver sustained results.
- Taking a proactive approach to professional development for yourself, using internal and external networks and resources to advance and share knowledge

**Qualifications**:
**We’d love to meet, someone with**
- Previous experience within an HR function at Advisor level.
- Experience of handling employee relations cases and providing ER advice
- Experience in building relationships with stakeholders
- Confidence to challenge where appropriate
- Highly numerate with good attention to detail
- Team player who works collaboratively for the success of the wider team
- Deals with confidential information with tact and diplomacy, 100% discreet
- Working knowledge and experience of a variety of HR areas including recruitment, reward, L&D, employee relations, change management
- Confident communicator, comfortable communicating with employees at all levels
- Happy to deal with ambiguity, fluid situations and changing deadlines
- Able to balance priorities with the ability to handle the day to day workload as well as project support
- Proactive approach to understanding ASOS and the areas you support
