We have an exciting opportunity within Maidstone for an Early Help Support Worker to join our Children’s Team on a part time, fixed term 9 month contract.
Based at Maidstone children’s centres, you will be working with children and their parents from a range of backgrounds, therefore the ability to engage with families in their own environment is essential - this may be at a Children’s Centre or anywhere in the Maidstone area.
We need someone fun, inspiring, and motivating that can encourage children to bring out the best in themselves, this can happen through any activity whether its games, rhyme times, cooking etc
Comprehensive training opportunities both mandatory and non-mandatory are offered for individual and team development.
Your ability to understand and communicate effectively with children and their families will be important, and previous experience of working with children would be an essential skill as well as a willingness to get beside the children and their parents and encourage them.
Your hobbies will also be of equal use whether you are a keen sports player, artist, dancer, or musician.
