**Job Description**:
The **Lead Scheduler** is expected to perform a variety of duties in the coordination of scheduling service for clients and CAREGivers. The **Lead Scheduler** is expected to assist and support other staff members in order to provide services of the highest quality to clients whilst supporting CAREGivers to achieve maximum productivity.

**Primary**
- Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner
- Develop and maintain relationships with both clients and CAREGivers by regular informative and telephone contact
- Coordinate CAREGiver schedules on daily basis, addressing any calls that may become unallocated within any 24-hour period and notifying both Clients and CAREGivers of relevant changes
- Coordinate and maintain monthly client schedules within Client/CAREGiver management software
- Identify and report to Company’s Recruitment Lead, areas to prioritize recruitment activity.
- Reconcile Caregivers’ hours with Client/CAREGiver software, add additional expenses onto financial spreadsheets
- Enter and maintain accurate client and CAREGiver records in Client/CAREGiver software
- Participate in out of hours “on call” rotation.

**Secondary**
- Participate in quarterly CAREGiver meetings.
- Participate in Business Strategy and Performance meetings, being accountable for specific business objectives within business plan or other action plans.

Undertake any training that is deemed necessary or mandatory by the Company, including taking part in own supervision and appraisal

Maintain and improve professional knowledge and competence.

Promote a professional image of the Company through positive execution of role and with others, maintain an ambassadorial role for Home Instead Luton & Central Bedfordshire.

**Qualifications**:
For this role you would need experience of working on a computer and possess excellent organisational skills. You will need to be able to work well under pressure and be able to build good working relationships with other members of the team.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5Pm along with one day per week for On-call duties and every fifth Weekend as well.
