Due to continued growth and success the position of **Environmental Consultant / Compliance Officer** has become available to join our fabulous **Environment, Sustainability & Social Value team** within our **Award-Winning Advisory Consultancy Business**.

This **hybrid role will be home based with travel to site 2-3 days per week** in Redcar, Cleveland, North East England or Solihull, West Midlands so mobility to travel is required along with a full driving licence.

It will ideally suit someone based in the North of England. You will have 3-5 years environmental officer experience in a relevant and related industry sector along with experience of working with contractors, consultants and auditors. Consulting experience in energy, transportation, water or another regulated industry would also be highly beneficial.

**Role Requirements**
- Previous experience in an environmental management role
- Experience working with and analysing environmental management system data
- Experience of working with contractors, consultants and auditors
- Operational environmental permit experience / knowledge
- Proficient in standard software packages (excel, word, PowerPoint)
- Relevant scientific degree
- Full driving licence
