CMS are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Paralegal or Paralegal to join our Legal Services Unit, to support our lawyers on a range of workstreams across a variety of different areas of law.

**About the Role**

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a number of different lawyers and clients across the UK and gain exposure to a variety of areas of law. Examples of the type of work you could get involved in are:

- Reviewing documents for relevance in the context of litigation disclosure exercises;
- Various tasks related to contentious workstreams, such as preparing disclosure and hearing bundles of documents for employment tribunal cases;
- Preparing first draft documents;
- Reviewing or redacting contracts.

**About You**

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a strong academic background. You will have a keen eye for detail with the ability to use your initiative and work to deadlines. You will have excellent organisational and time management skills and be ableto prioritise effectively. You will also be able to demonstrate flexibility and the ability to adapt to change. Exceptional communication skills are necessary, as is the ability to work well in a team.

A degree in law or equivalent qualification or previous paralegal experience is preferred.
