**Trainee Hearing Aid Dispenser**
At Clydebank Hearcare we’re looking for someone who wants to go the distance and become a Hearing Aid Dispenser.
**What does a Hearing Aid Dispenser do?**
Hearing aid dispensers (HADs) are fully qualified clinicians who assess hearing and provide aftercare for hearing aids.
Our Hearing Aid Dispensers use audiometric and otoscopic test equipment to provide a thorough hearing test. They will then select and demonstrate hearing aids whenever and wherever appropriate to agreed standards and carry out the fitting of hearing aids. Our Hearing Aid Dispenser also follow up with aftercare appointments as necessary. Throughout this process our team of hearing professionals deliver excellent customer service and are a valuable part of our team.
**How do I become a Hearing Aid Dispenser?**
The foundation degree can be completed via distance learning and once completed you will become a qualified Hearing Aid Dispenser. What’s more, we’ll support you every step of the way both with supervision and mentoring and financially by covering the cost of your studies
**What do I need?**
What we’re looking for is someone very passionate about a long-term career even if hearcare is a totally new career for you Also important are good customer service skills, a friendly attitude and the ability to work in a team. You’ll need to be hard working and committed to the role.
