This full-time post is available from 1st July 2025 on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2026. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home.
**Summary of the role**
The post will provide administrative support to the Nurture-U research project, funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC) and led at Exeter by Professor Edward Watkins. The role will be based in the Wellcome Mood Disorders Centre and This is a national project working across multiple university sites aiming to find better ways to support university students with their wellbeing and mental health.
The role will involve diary management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of people at all levels, organising necessary travel and meetings arrangements for the team and assisting in processing expenses claims and financial record keeping duties. The post holder must be able to recognise the changing nature of the work and be prepared to be flexible as roles and responsibilities change and develop. It is essential to the smooth running of the project for the post holder to demonstrate good communication skills and a pleasant and courteous manner as they will be working closely with external stakeholders such as academic institutions and local authorities. The post holder will be expected to be well organised, motivated, flexible and work using their own initiative.
