- Check material for flaws.
- Sews pieces according to specification, check pile and pattern, direction if necessary, sewing in pleating and gathers, inserting piping cord, and zips, lining, and other sundry items as required by the specification.
- Sews in labels as required by the specification.

**You need to have**:
Good hand to eye coordination

A steady, accurate hand, for cutting

Excellent attention to detail

A good understanding of têxtile characteristics

A methodical approach to work.

**You need to be able to**:
Work quickly and accurately under pressure

Follow instructions

Follow health and safety procedures carefully

Work as part of a team with others such as designers, machinists and technologists.

**Training**

Training is normally on the job.

No agencies please.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- On-site parking

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
