Spencer Clarke Group are looking for a Corporate Governance Officer based in Brighton

**Fully remote until March - Hybrid working thereafter**

Contract - 12 month fixed term contract

Working hours - Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00

**Salary**: £33,883 - £44,979

**_About the role_**

This is an exciting opportunity to join our General Counsel and Governance (GCG) Office which is responsible for driving the continuous development of TPR’s governance structures and processes. Supporting the Head of Corporate Governance, this vital rolewill provide specialist support to deliver an internal Governance Review.

The Governance Review will ensure that our decision-making committees, governance frameworks, controls, and processes are making effective decisions in line with TPR’s strategic priorities and risk framework, as well as the UK Corporate Governance Code andGovernment best practice.

As Corporate Governance Officer you will be responsible for coordinating the Governance Review and supporting the delivery of its key objectives. With exceptional organisation and communication skills, you will have the ability and confidence to engage witha diverse group of stakeholders to build effective, mutually supportive relationships across TPR.

You will be responsible for providing advice on wider corporate governance policy, procedures, process, and controls to all levels of the organisation, and will engage in proactive consultation across the business. You will be expected to simultaneouslywork with and manage the expectations of stakeholders at all levels.

- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently to varied stakeholders, both orally and in writing, to influence thinking, provide clear and concise reporting and to influence the actions of others
- Networking skills to establish and maintain strong internal and external working relationships
