Our client is a long standing, successful and dynamic organisation who champion an impressive product and sell this into the UK market. Lead by a commercially astute senior leadership team, this is an opportunity to work within an open, friendly and forward-thinkingorganisation who invest heavily in their people. Due to an upcoming maternity leave, they are looking to appoint an experienced and knowledgeable HR Business Partner into their team for a period of 12 - 14 months. **_Please note: This is a part time role, offering 25 - 30 hours per week. This role also offers Hybrid working._**
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Guiding and advising the business on strategic HR issues
- Support Line Managers to ensure that all have a high quality on-boarding / induction process
- Coach, guide and provide operational support to Line Managers to manage ER related activity in the client group (including performance management, disciplinary, grievance and absence topics) managing stakeholders effectively throughout the case.
- Pro-actively guide Heads of Function and Line Managers to identify strategic priorities for L&D, and promote coaching, mentoring and buddying practices within the client group
- Contribute to payroll and benefits within the function, liaising with external providers to ensure that they provide attractive benefits, fair rewards, and performance-related pay
- In addition to undertaking a true generalist remit there will also be an opportunity to play a key part in other strategic HR projects and business initiatives such as new flexible working policies
**Key Skills & Experience**:
- Experience across the whole range of the HR Lifecycle
- Experience of leading on settlement agreements and consultations
- Hands on employee relations experience and the ability to manage disciplinaries, grievances, performance improvement and absences
- An ability to develop strong working relationships and engage effectively at all levels within the Company
- Strong communication skills: written, verbal and active listening
- Planned and organised, with the ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK Employment Law - essential
- A strong internal service ethic
