**Responsibilities**
- **Customer Interaction**: Greet guests and explain the rules of the game with enthusiasm, making sure they understand the escape room experience.
- **Game Facilitation**: Monitor the game while it’s in progress, ensuring that teams have a smooth experience. Provide hints when necessary, ensuring the game stays fun but challenging.
- **Safety & Cleanliness**: Ensure the escape rooms are safe, clean and set up according to company standards. Conduct pre and post game room inspections.
- **Problem Solving & Troubleshooting**: Quickly resolve any technical issues or player concerns that arise during the game.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Communicate effectively with management regarding player feedback, room performance and team needs.
- **Customer Satisfaction**: Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions, addressing concerns and ensuring guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience.
- **Room Setup and Breakdown**: Set up and reset rooms between bookings, ensuring puzzles and props are in excellent working order.

**Requirements**:

- **Must be friendly, approachable and customer oriented.**:

- **Strong communication skills**: You’ll be talking with a variety of guests, from first-timers to seasoned escape room enthusiasts.
- **Detail-oriented** and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- **Problem-solving skills**: You must be able to think on your feet and manage the flow of the game while assisting players.
- **Flexible availability**, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (escape rooms are most popular during these times).
- **Team player**: You’ll be part of a dynamic, energetic team, so teamwork is essential
- Previous experience in customer service or hosting roles is a plus, but not required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £11.44 per hour
