Here at GXO, we are looking for a **Network Development Manager** to join us on our B&Q contract. As a key part of the Operational leadership team, you will support both B&Q & GXO to exceed their overall targets. This is an exciting time forus as we are restructuring based on the growth of our contracts across the B&Q Network. We are flexible on location as you will cover our sites within the Northwest, Swindon, and Yorkshire.

We are not looking for a quick fix but a versatile leader with experience of managing a team, the ability to adapt to an ever-changing program with direct customer interaction and a flair for continuous improvement.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary around £60,000 to £65,000 per annum, plus car allowance of £505 pcm. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high streetdiscounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Work closely with depots and our customer to review and refine delivery schedules with overall responsibility for the National Planning Function
- Develop a centre of excellence culture to promote standard ways of working.
- Work closely with stakeholders on how the network can improve its efficiencies and customer service levels
- Support the Branston returns operation as required.
- Support business wide projects and drive improvement initiatives

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Effective management of an operation through management of SLA’s/KPI’s/Objectives
- Commercially driven with a proactive approach to identify and deliver operational opportunities
- Previous experience in a large network leadership role, with experience of working within complex organisations or networks
- Highly analytical with an action orientated approach and strong levels of ownership
- Clear and concise communicator with strong presentation skills.
