**HIGH GROWTH GLOBAL FILM/ TV DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS IS LOOKING FOR A HANDS ON FINANCIAL CONTROLLER TO PLAY A KEY ROLE IN THE MANAGEMENT & IMPORVEMENT IN ALL AREAS OF THE FINANCE FUNCTION OF THIS RAPIDLY EXPANDING MEDIA Co.**

This 12mth contract will be working directly with the COO, Head of Commercial Finance, International Distribution and Global FD you will be responsible for;
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of general accounting for the UK entity.
- Developing and maintaining all accounting policies and internal accounting and reporting systems.
- Reviewing and evaluating contracts for significant arrangements and new business terms.
- Working closely with Head of Film Accounting and VP, Financial Reporting (based in US) to ensure correct revenue recognition for the UK Distribution and International Sales business divisions.
- Coordinating with the US to submit UK related audit information as required.
- Performing continuous assessment of the close process including UK Ultimates.
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts and variance analysis.
- Assisting senior management in financial planning and results management.
- Working with other team members including UK Distribution and International Marketing to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.
- Management and development two direct reports.
- Working with external auditors on external financial statements and accounting issues to ensure auditor agreement with company decisions on accounting disclosures, and issues.

Being a Qualified CA, ACCA or CIMA Accountant, you will ideally have a combination of Practice and Entertainment experience.
- Film production and distribution experience a plus.
- Proficient understanding of ERP & Systems, SAP preferred and strong Excel.
- Hands-on experience working with multiple companies and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
